Estridge Extreme Dream Makeover In Indianapolis
Wow! I can’t believe that Extreme Home Makeover is actually coming to Indianapolis and on top of that, the builder that is sponsoring the new home is one of my personal favorites, Estridge Homes.
We don’t know anything about the chosen family yet, but the door knock will take place March 27th and you can find out more about the family then.
The work will be done March 27th – April 4th and both Skilled and Unskilled Volunteers are needed (I know which group I fall in to…)
But either way, I’m excited and can’t wait to figure out a way to help in the project.
Want to join me? Please let me know . . . I’d be honored to work side by side with you!

Taste Of The Southside Returns February 8th!!!
OK, I’ve never been to this event before but I’ve heard about it and always wanted to go. Another Realtor and I (Hi Linda!) were talking this morning and she mentioned it was this Sunday but didn’t know the details.
I did a little searching and here’s what I was able to find:
The event will be held this Sunday, February 8th from 4-7pm. Attendees must be 21 or older and the event is taking place at Valle Vista Golf Club and Conference Center, located at 755 E. Main Street in Greenwood.
Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple. There are a number of different places where tickets can be purchased, but the easiest would probably be to log on to the link the Greenwood Chamber has.
From what I hear, it’s a great networking event and they plan on selling out.

A Victorian Christmas in Mooresville!
The air was chilly and the snow was falling, but nothing that a super soft oatmeal raisin cookie and a cup of hot cider couldn’t handle.
The first Saturday in December marks the celebration of a “Victorian Christmas” in Mooresville. For us, it also marked the grand opening of a brand new “Mega Agent Office” for our fellow KW sister Stephanie Stewart.
Stephanie was just granted permission from KW International to open the office on her own so it was a little bare, but the mood and the spirits were definitely high. There were horse drawn carriages and strolling musicians, fully dressed in period costume.
With the help of her friends at Five Star Mortgage Solutions, the timing couldn’t have been better for Stephanie’s Grand Opening. The location is right on Main Street in downtown Mooresville and we know she’s going to do very well there. Best of luck Stephanie!!!

Early Voting In Johnson County
Apparently, this is something that has always been available, but I’ve just been too clueless to notice it.
But if you’re hoping to avoid the long lines on voting day, you might try heading to the lower level of the courthouse in downtown Franklin to cast your vote early.
From what I’ve heard, mornings might be the better time to try avoiding any lines. You have between now and Monday, Nov. 3rd at noon to vote early. The courthouse is located at 5 E. Jefferson Street in Franklin and their hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Good Luck!
